TYPE OF INFORMATION USED
A - Navigation information

During normal operation, the computer systems and software procedures used to run this website gather some personal information automatically transmitted when using Internet communication protocols. This is information that is not gathered to be related toidentified interested parties, but by their very nature could, through processing and together with data held by third parties, allow users to be identified. This type of information includes IP addresses or domain names of the computers used by users visiting the site, the addresses in the Uniform Resource Identifier (URI) notation of the requested resources, the time of the request, the method used to submit the request to the server, the size of the file obtained in response, the numerical code indicating the status of the response given by the server (success, error, etc.) and other parameters relating to the operating system and the user's IT set up. This information is used for the sole purpose of obtaining anonymous statistical information on the use of the site and to check that it is operating correctly. The information could be used to determine responsibility in the event of hypothetical IT violations damaging the website and may be presented to the Legal Authorities, if explicitly requested.

B - Information voluntarily provided by the user

Optional, explicit and voluntary sending of e-mails to the addresses on this site means that the sender's address will be acquired, which is necessary to respond to requests, as well as any other personal information included in the email. Specific policy information will be added or displayed on the pages of the site set up for particular services on request.

C – Cookies

Cookies are a small amount of data that is stored in the RAM of the computer or on the hard drive or mobile device, every time a website is visited or its services used. Cookies in no way allow the visited site to have access to any other data on the users' computer. Cookies are sent by the web server (on which the visited site is running) to the browser you are using (Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome, etc.) and then stored on your computer or mobile device. The stored data contain information that the site is able to read when it is visited at a later time. Some of these cookies are necessary for the proper operation of the site, and others are useful to the visitor because they can safely store the user name or language settings, for example. The advantage of having cookies installed on your PC is that you no longer need to fill out the same information every time you want to access a site visited previously. Cookies are also used in order to optimise the performance of the website: they make both the final purchase process easier, as well as allowing for quick searchingof specific elements and products within the site.

Third-party cookies, such as the one set by the "Like" button of Facebook, are cookies generated and used by parties other than the operator of the site on which the user is browsing, on the basis of contracts between the website owner and the related third party. The latter fall under the direct and exclusive responsibility of the same party. Some advertisers use these cookies to track user visits on sites where they offer their services.

Types of Cookies

1 – Session or permanent cookies
Session cookies last as long as the session of use on the browser and are deleted automatically when it is closed.
Permanent cookies are constant and remain stored even after the session is closed, and until their expiry date.
2 – First-party or third-party cookies
First-party cookies belong to the visited website, which sends them directly to the visitor.
Third-party cookies come from third-party sites in relation to the one visited. The owner of the visited site has no control over them and the related information. Disabling them does not affect navigability in any way. Their use is governed by the rules set by the third parties and, therefore, to manage or disable these cookies users should take note of the privacy policies and information posted on the websites of such third parties.

Types of Cookies

1 – Technical cookies
These cookies are essential to be able to browse the website and use some features. Without these strictly required cookies, the online services that are normally offered by the site, may not be accessible if based exclusively on cookies of this nature. Cookies of this type allow the user to navigate effectively between the pages of a website and to use the different options and services offered.
It is not necessary to provide consent for technical cookies, as they are essential for the required services. It is possible to block or remove technical cookies by changing the options on your browser. However, by doing so you may be unable to access certain areas of the website or use some of the services offered.
As stated above all technical cookies do not require consent, so they are installed automatically when accessing the site.

2 – Performance cookies
Collect anonymous and aggregated information on how to use and navigate the site, with the aim of improving operation of the site (Eg: pages most visited, pages that report error messages, ...)

3 – Functional cookies
They store information about the choices made by users, so as to improve functionality and personalisation of the site according to your needs (Eg: automatic language selection, video viewing of external platforms, such as YouTube, sharing and publishing content on social networks, ...)

4 - Profiling or advertising cookies
They monitor and profile users during navigation, studying and memorising the options and browsing habits on the website and on the web in general, as well as consumption habits, also for the purpose of sending targeted and personalised advertising services.

5 - Analytical cookies
They are used to gather information on the use of the various sections of the site and how users interact with it, for statistical analysis of page views, the number of visitors and visit duration, to improve the site over time and simplify its use, as well as to monitor its correct operation.
The information is collected anonymously and in aggregate form and is used strictly for statistical purposes, without storing any personal user information.
Analytical cookies are sent from the site itself or from third-party domains.

6 - Social network cookies
Third-party cookies generated by "social plugins" for social networks. These plugins have the main purpose of allowing the sharing of content on social networks (this site has no influence on the use of the information collected by such third parties through the plugins in question).
They are represented by buttons displayed on the host site that do not operate automatically, but transmit information through cookies only after the user clicks on them. The button remains active until the user disables it, or to delete the related cookie. Once activated, the affected social network can collect information, regardless of the actual use of the button. If, at the same time, the user has logged onto the social network, the latter can link the visit to the site containing the plugin to the user's account on the social network itself. To avoid this connection, the user must disable access to the social network before activating the button.
The use of third-party cookies is governed by the rules set by the social networks that own them and, therefore, to manage or disable these cookies users should take note of the privacy policies and information posted on the websites of such third parties.

7 - Cookies used by Google plugins
Owned by Google Inc., these cookies are necessary for Users to access Google content or services (e.g. videos hosted on the YouTube platform, Google Maps, sharing of content on Google+, ...). Information collected by the Google plugins on the Site, including the User's IP address, can be sent to Google and stored on its servers. This information is managed entirely by Google itself. These cookies do not identify Users individually, unless they have accessed their Google account, in which case they are linked to that Google account.
These services, as well as all Google services in general, are regulated by the respective contractual conditions and policies on privacy and cookies, available at http://www.google.com/intl/it_it/policies/.

Cookies used by this website

Our website uses cookies to recognise and keep track of visitors, in order to provide them with faster access to the site and to modify their content according to their preferences. The information is stored anonymously and is aggregated for statistical purposes and to monitor, always aggregated and never individually, which pages of the site and which services are most valued by users. In some cases, together with other information such as details entered to access to restricted areas (your e-mail address and password), they can be used to profile the user (personal habits, visited sites, downloaded content, types of interactions, etc.).
