Rutile flux cored wire alloyed with Ni-Cr-Cu designed for the welding of weather-resistant steels (CorTen type) with yield strength up to 500 MPa. For welding in all position in single pass and multi pass. Excellent impact toughness down to -40°C in the as-welded conditions. Low hydrogen content (< 5ml/100g) ensures low risk of cold cracking. Easy slag removal and very good bead appearance with overall good operator appeal. This wire must be used in all those applications where the weld needs to match the corrosion resistance of the base material. To be used under Ar + CO2 gas shielding.
