Uncoppered solid wire for GMAW (MIG/MAG) welding of "type 92" creep-resistant steels, modified with tungsten (W), vanadium (V), niobium (Nb), nitrogen (N) and boron (B) additions. These elements provide approximately 30% higher creep rupture strength compared to type 91 steel. Optimized alloy with Ni + Mn < 1% to allow a higher PWHT temperature and a high Si content to optimize wetability in root welding. This material is used in heat exchangers, boilers, and piping in ultra-supercritical (USC) power plants with operating temperatures up to 630 °C. Xf<10. To be welded under Ar + CO2 or Ar + O2 shielding gas.
