Metal-cored wire for welding high strength low alloy steels (HSLA) with a tensile strength above 770 MPa such as T-1, HY-80 and HY-100 steels. The presence of Ni assures high impact toughness at low temperature (down to -50°C). Spatter-free and no need for interpass cleaning makes INETUB M111TG-K3 suitable for multipass semi-automatic, automatic and robot welding. High deposition rates assure high welding efficiency. Applications include shipbuilding, bridges, offshore structures and pipelines, in which combination of high strength and low toughness is critical. To be used under Ar+CO2 gas mix.
